CAPE COD – Looks like Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton each have their eyes set on the Massachusetts' social elite. The respective Republican and Democratic nominees for president both plan to fundraise on the Cape and surrounding areas this month.
Donald Trump will fundraise in Osterville this Saturday evening at the home of William and Bridget Koch. Koch, 75, is the founder of Oxbow Carbon, a multinational company that is the world leader in distribution of petroleum coke, an oil refining by-product. He is the brother of Charles and David Koch, with whom he had a public business dispute and falling out in the 1980s. Charles Koch, known for backing conservative and libertarian causes, refuses to back Trump (although he calls the idea that he would support Clinton "blood libel").
