State Agency Announces It Will Open Massachusetts Campground Reservations Soon

The state Department of Conservation and Recreation has announced that it will open reservations for camping at parks across Massachusetts at 9 a.m Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

Those interested can make campground reservations up to four months in advance via ReserveAmerica. The state's 25 campgrounds are scheduled to be open from the start of April through the end of October.

Former Rhode Island governor Gina Raimondo made a short list of candidates floated by columnist Peggy Noonan who could replace President Joe Biden as the Democrats' standard-bearer this year.

Noonan wrote a column in The Wall Street Journal attempting to persuade Democrats that it's not too late to replace Biden, 81, whose candidacy is hampered by low approval ratings, a struggling economy, and his cognitive decline.
