Someone Sprays Pepper-Like Irritant At Prom, Sending Three To Hospital

A high school prom in Connecticut ended not with a whimper but with a bang when someone sprayed an irritant into the air that sent dancers fleeing and three students to the hospital.

The incident happened about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, during the Stonington High School prom in Groton, Connecticut, according to The Day of New London.

Biological Female Student Named Prom ‘King’ At Barnstable High School

A student who is a biological female but identifies as a male was named prom king at the senior prom of Barnstable High School.

The student was known to classmates as Nicole until announcing via Instagram last summer that henceforward the first name would be Nicholas, according to The Cape Cod Times.
