Some Groton Residents See Anti-Trump Message in New Stone Markers

The new stone markers say "All Are Welcome," which critics see as a dig at President Donald Trump's immigration policies. A warrant article approving the markers passed on a fairly close vote at Town Meeting this  past spring without much discussion, but some residents want voters to take another look; they'd prefer a neutral message such as "Welcome."

Company Proposes Balloon System To Keep Sky Eye on Sharks

Fifteen weather-style balloons would patrol the skies from Chatham to Provincetown on Cape Cod with video cameras searching for sharks, feeding images to a central command trailer. The company says it would help safety and science; and local and regional officials are taking a look at it.
