Former state Senator Dean Tran (R-Fitchburg) wants to take on a new challenge: in Washington, D.C.
The Republican filed to run for the U.S. House seat in the Third Massachusetts District next year, according to a filing with the Federal Elections Commission. It's the district currently represented by Lori Trahan (D-Westford). She ran unopposed last year.
