A federal judge found the former sheriff of the county that includes Phoenix, Arizona guilty of violating a court order for having deputies stop suspected illegal immigrants. The conviction could carry up to six months in jail and a stiff fine for Joe Arpaio, 85, who lost a re-election bid this past November.
