School Choice Rally in New Hampshire Draws Governor

Almost 200 people rallied in favor of school choice in Manchester, New Hampshire, in support of a bill that would expand education tax credits and school-choice options. Governor Chris Sununu, an advocate of school choice, said he and his wife homeschooled for three years, then tried public schools, and now are trying Catholic schools, and that others should have those options, even if they don't have money.

New Hampshire Democrat Proposes State Income Tax

The state representative's proposal would implement a 3.95 percent income tax for the Granite State, which famously has no state income tax or sales tax. State Representative Paul Henle, a Democrat from Concord, also calls for reducing and repealing other state taxes, but one members of the Ways and Means Committee of the New Hampshire House of Representatives called the proposal a Trojan Horse.
