Massachusetts is going to be a competitive state in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, according to one recently released poll.
A poll conducted by YouGov for the University of Massachusetts Lowell Center for Public Opinion shows both Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren in a tight race in the Bay State. Sanders leads the poll with 21 percent support, just topping Warren's 20 percent. However, the lead is within the poll's 6.1 percent margin of error.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren went after former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg in the Democratic presidential debate on Wednesday night, but that does not mean she would not support him in a general election.
In the debate, Warren brought up some of Bloomberg's most controversial past comments and attempted to draw a parallel between him and incumbent president Donald Trump.
