A famous Christmas Tree Shops location will shut its doors at the end of the month and will be replaced by a Spirit Halloween.
The Halloween-themed store will be moving into the Sagamore Christmas Tree Shops storefront starting in September, according to WBSM. The building is at the base of the Sagamore Bridge on the Cape Cod side.
A proposed ordinance targeting pro-life crisis pregnancy centers in Easthampton died Wednesday night, as city councilors failed to override the mayor's veto of the measure.
The Easthampton City Council voted 5-3 to override the veto – one vote short of the two-thirds majority needed.
