Rhode Island Extends Ban On Dine-In Restaurants

Rhode Island residents are going to have to wait a little longer than they thought to eat in a dine-in restaurant as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo has extended the order through at least Friday, May 8, as WJAR-TV Channel 10 in Providence reports. People will not be able to eat in bars and cafes until then and social gatherings of five or more people will not be allowed.

NHL Season Could Resume In New Hampshire After Coronavirus Pandemic

The National Hockey League has not given up hope when it comes to finishing up its 2019-2020 season, and part of that solution may involve New Hampshire.

One proposal that has been suggested is playing at neutral sites with empty arenas. Facilities in Manchester, New Hampshire and Grand Forks, North Dakota are among the possible sites mentioned as they would allow for the games to be televised, as NBC Sports Boston reports.
