The principal of the public high school in Exeter, New Hampshire is holding firm on a ban on school dances despite an online petition seeking to bring them back.
James Tremblay, the principal of Exeter High School, banned school dances in December 2015 because "hundreds of kids" engaged in "dirty dancing" – which, as CBS News described it at the time, paraphrasing the then-principal, consisted of "grinding, or worse, which then becomes a mob mentality on the dance floor."
