Repeal Ballot Question of Driver’s-Licenses-for-Illegal-Immigrants Law OK’d

Opponents of allowing illegal immigrants to get driver's licenses in Massachusetts have until August 24 to collect 40,000 signatures of registered voters to put a referendum on the November 2022 state ballot. The Massachusetts Attorney General's office approved the wording of the proposed ballot question on Monday, June 27 – 12 days after the Massachusetts Secretary of State's office asked for a legal opinion on the proposed measure from the state Attorney General.
