State Auditor Diana DiZoglio says she is within striking distance of the number of signatures she needs to bring a ballot question asking voters to give her explicit authority to audit the Massachusetts Legislature.
DiZoglio told State House News Service on Monday, November 6 that she has about 50,000 signatures. She needs at least 74,574 signatures from registered voters by Wednesday, November 22 to reach the second of several requirements needed to bring the measure to the state general election ballot in November 2024.
