Ann LePage, the wife of Maine Governor Paul LePage, a Republican Trump supporter, is reportedly being urged to run against U.S. Senator Angus King, a liberal independent who sides with the Democrats, in 2018. Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon of Breitbart is encouraging her to run, according to The New York Times, although Mrs. LePage apparently doesn't like politics and last year took a job as a waitress.
