Pop music superstar Prince dead at suburban Minneapolis home

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) — Pop superstar Prince, widely acclaimed as one of the most inventive musicians of his era with hits including "Little Red Corvette," "Let's Go Crazy" and "When Doves Cry," was found dead at his home on Thursday in suburban Minneapolis, according to his publicist. He was 57.

His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, told The Associated Press that the music icon died at his home in Chanhassen. No details were immediately released.

High Court clears claims against Iran over ’83 Beirut bombing

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Wednesday cleared the way for families of victims of the 1983 Marine barracks bombing in Beirut and other attacks linked to Iran to collect nearly $2 billion in frozen Iranian funds.

The court's 6-2 ruling directly affects more than 1,300 relatives of victims, some who have been seeking compensation for more than 30 years. They include families of the 241 U.S. service members who died in the Beirut bombing.
