Police Chiefs, Republican Governor Support New Hampshire Gender Identity Bill

The pro-transgender House Bill 1319 would add "gender identity" to the list of protected classes in New Hampshire's civil rights bill; Governor Chris Sununu, a Republican, says he supports it, and the police chief in Dover testified that the New Hampshire Police Chiefs Association supports it, too. Shannon McGinley, executive director of the conservative Cornerstone Policy Research in Manchester, noted that while sex is objective, gender identity is not:  "One can be compassionate without abandoning biology."

James O'Keefe talked about undercover filming of Democratic activists apparently showing out-of-state people how to vote in New Hampshire in 2016. O'Keefe, famous for exposing ACORN and Planned Parenthood, gave an interview to The Concord Monitor on his way to speaking engagements about voter fraud and his book American Pravda at the University of New Hampshire at Durham and the conservative 603 Alliance in Bedford, telling the Monitor that his organization is facing 12 civil actions, harassment from the attorneys general in California and New York, and that his reporters are detained and harassed at borders:  "I'm disappointed that I have to fight for my right to exist without being jailed," O'Keefe said.
