The Massachusetts Senate passed a bill Thursday allowing people to change their gender on government documents, including retroactively on marriage licenses, State House News Service reported.
The bill would require government documents to offer more options for gender besides male and female.
Governor Maura Healey is moving for the third time in roughly two years, this time to Arlington, a spokesman for Healey told State House News Service.
Healey, 52, will be moving in with Joanna Lydgate by August 1, a spokesman said. Healey and Lydgate were the subjects of a Boston Globestory earlier this year.
