There are now three independent U.S. senators who caucus with the Democratic Party, but they're not all the same.
U.S. Senator Angus King (I-Maine) is one and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) is another. And they've been joined by Kyrsten Sinema (I-Arizona), who became an independent last week.
