FOXBORO — New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft made sure that the memory of one of his team's most ardent fans, an 18-year-old college-bound student from Sharon, took center stage at Gillette Stadium ahead of Monday night's divisional tilt against the Buffalo Bills.

Ezra Schwartz, who was in the process of spending a "gap year in Israel," was killed Thursday when a Palestinian man opened fire on cars stuck in traffic in the West Bank. ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage did not air the Patriot's tribute to Schwartz and his family, which included a moment of silence, but Sussex Friends of Israel, a British-based advocacy organization, posted a video of the proceedings to its Facebook page:

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — The Interior Department plans to cancel a long-suspended oil and gas drilling lease near Glacier National Park that's on land considered sacred to the Blackfoot tribes of the U.S. and Canada, according to court documents filed Monday.

Tribal leaders said such a move would make up for a wrong done to them in 1982, when the government issued the lease without consulting the tribes.
