One-time owner of gun Marathon bombers used pleads guilty

BOSTON (AP) — A Massachusetts man who at one time was in possession of the gun that the Boston Marathon bombers used to kill a police officer has pleaded guilty to related charges.

Merhawi "Howie" Berhe (muhr-HAW'-ee burr-HEE'), of Cambridge, pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Sentencing is scheduled for June.

AG Healey sets fantasy sports betting rules for Bay State

BOSTON (AP) — The attorney general of Massachusetts has finalized what she calls the most comprehensive rules in the nation for daily fantasy sports operators.

The regulations issued Friday by Democrat Maura Healey are largely the same as those she proposed in November. They set a minimum age of 21 for participating in the online contests and bar games based on college or other amateur sports.
