President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the rest of the Biden administration support pro-legal-abortion policies — and reaffirmed it on Friday.
The administration already plans to reverse the Mexico City Policy to allow organizations that provide abortions in other countries to receive federal dollars. However, the administration also laid out some of its other abortion priorities in a statement on Friday, January 22. The statement came on the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the federal Supreme Court decision that legalized elective abortion in the United States.
