No Regrets for Former Drug Smuggler, Who Gets Celebrity Welcome in Weymouth

A 75-year-old former marijuana and cocaine smuggler who did decades in jail returned this week to the South Shore town he grew up in to film a documentary about his life.

George Jung got a warm welcome from former neighbors and from fans of a book and movie made about his life, according to The Patriot Ledger. He also expressed satisfaction that recreational marijuana is now legal in Massachusetts, saying he always knew it would happen.
