New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Says Mask Up

New Hampshire's Republican governor Chris Sununu wants his constituents to wear a mask.

Sununu, who issued a statewide mask mandate last month, said the death of the state's Republican House Speaker, Dick Hinch, is an example of why people should wear masks. Hinch reportedly did not wear a mask at multiple events in November 2020. He died of coronavirus earlier this month, according to CBS.

If enacted, the proposed abortion amendment on the state budget bill would eliminate the current requirement in state law for a 16-year-old or 17-year-old girl seeking an abortion in Massachusetts to get the consent of a parent or a judge. How do Bay Staters feel about that?

A recent Suffolk/Boston Globe poll found that 48.2 percent of Bay Staters support the measure while 40.4 percent oppose. Additionally, 9 percent say they were undecided and 2.4 percent refused to answer the question.
