Most of the free coronavirus testing sites run by the state will no longer exist in a few weeks.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is closing 75 percent of its free testing sites; by April 1, there will only be 11 sites remaining. Thirty of the 41 existing free PCR testing sites will be closed by the time this month is over. (PCR stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction.)
