Massachusetts state representative Tim Whelan (R-Brewster) won't seek another term.
Instead, the Cape Cod Republican will run for Barnstable County Sheriff. The news comes as the incumbent sheriff, James Cummings, will not run for a fifth term. Cummings is a Republican.
