Missouri Man Inherits Connecticut Courthouse — ?
The state of Connecticut is closing a 19th century courthouse in the town of Litchfield and moving the court elsewhere. A lease agreement signed by the property owner in 1803 says that if the state stops using the property for a courthouse, the title reverts to the descendants of the property owner, so a 78-year-old man and the estates of his two deceased sisters will get the property.
