Father Bill Costello, a retired priest of the Diocese of Fall River missing and reported dead in Texas, is still officially missing, a police spokesman said.
Authorities found the body of a man in a county somewhat near Costello's home in South Padre Island, Texas, but previous news reports that the body is Costello's are not confirmed, the police spokesman told The Cape Cod Times.
