Former U.S. vice president Mike Pence has been announced as the 2025 recipient of the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award because he certified Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election over the objections of President Donald Trump.
Pence will be the fourth Republican to receive the award for standing against Trump.
