If Boston Mayor Marty Walsh decides to seek re-election next year, he going to have a Democratic challenge — from his left.
Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu will also be running for mayor in 2021 — or at least that's what Walsh has said, according to MassLive. The mayor said Wu called him to let him know that she plans to run against him, but Wu has not confirmed or denied that she is runnng.
Restaurants in Massachusetts are closing for good at a high rate because of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns associated with them.
More than 20 percent of restaurants in the state have permanently closed due to the emergency, and it is possible that others will not be able to survive in the coming months. There are about 16,000 restaurants in the Bay State and of those, about 3,400 have closed, according to MSN.
