Men Charged With Killing Whitey Bulger Won’t Face Death Penalty

The two men charged with killing James "Whitey" Bulger in a West Virginia prison five years ago won't receive the death penalty, according to The Associated Press.

Fotios "Freddy" Geas, a former Mafia hitman, and Massachusetts gangster Paul J. DeCologero have been indicted on murder charges in the slaying of the 89-year-old Bulger in 2018.

Vice President Kamala Harris Coming To Boston For NAACP Convention

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris plans to speak before the national convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Boston later this summer.

The convention is scheduled to run from Wednesday, July 26 through Tuesday, August 1. The announcement from the NAACP earlier today doesn't say which day Harris will speak.
