Background:
Married 25 years with a 22-year-old daughter. I am a fisherman, boat captain, sportsman, conservationist, public servant, entrepreneur, girl dad, reality TV star, beekeeper, and cancer survivor. I grew up in the district, moving from Cape Cod to Mattapoisett in 2001. I am running to represent District 9, continuing my advocacy for the fishing community, restoring balance and relationships with Washington.

Continue to support and represent the district’s working waterfront and commercial fishing community.
Stop the offshore wind debacle and devastation of the ocean right off the coast of District 9.
Create opportunity locally and nationally to further the energy independence of the United States by expanding use of power-dense modern reactor technology, the same technologies used in our submarines and large naval vessels.
One bill you would file:
I would file legislation to shorten permitting timelines on new, modern baseload energy production facilities. Current pathway is about 10 years.
Reaching voters outside your party:
My focus is on the people and the welfare of District 9, and that crosses party lines. As someone who has w lived in the district my entire life, I have seen damage done by the breakdown of relationships with Washington as well as the economic costs of overregulation by the federal government. I have been working as an advocate for the fishermen and the resource for over 10 years. I, along with 2 others, started a 501(c)3) research-focused organization for bluefin tuna. I will continue that advocacy.
