Mayoral Candidate Says He Won’t Raise Property Taxes As Much As State Law Allows

A candidate for mayor of Brockton says he won't raise property taxes as much as state law allows if he is elected.

About 32 percent of female undergraduates at Harvard College who responded to a survey earlier this year said they had experienced nonconsensual sexual contact – about the same percentage as five years ago, when it was 31 percent.

"I'm profoundly saddened and disturbed that we find ourselves after five years in essentially the same position that we were before," said Lawrence Bacow, president of Harvard University, during a campus meeting Thursday, October 17, according to The Harvard Crimson.
