Maybe It’s Time To Get Rid of Football, School Official Says

A member of the school board of Nashua, New Hampshire said the city's high school should consider getting rid of football and replacing it with flag football or touch football.

Howard Coffman, a school board member, made the comments in he context of a $1.3 million settlement the city made las year with a former football player paralyzed from a collision during practice in 2010.

A poll released Monday night shows Ohio Governor John Kasich down just six points to President Donald Trump in a theoretical New Hampshire Republican primary in 2020.

But the Ohio governor, who made a speech in New Hampshire on Tuesday widely seen as testing the waters, wouldn't commit to anything when he spoke with reporters and, in one case, the editorial board of The Concord Monitor, a left-leaning newspaper.
