U.S. Representative Lori Trahan (D-Westford) was recently named the co-chairman of the Congressional Cambodia Caucus.

Trahan represents the state's Third District. Her district includes Lowell, Massachusetts, which is home to about 13,000 Cambodian Americans, according a 2018 scholarly article by Purdue University professor Virak Chan.
