Maura Healey Dominates Latest Poll In Massachusetts Democratic Race For Governor

If the Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial primary were held today, attorney general Maura Healey would dominate it, according to a newly-released poll.

A public opinion poll released by UMass Lowell found that 62 percent of likely Democratic primary voters would support Healey, according to Politico. That gave her a 45-point lead over her more progressive opponent, state Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz (D-Jamaica Plain). Chang-Diaz had 17 percent support. And 20 percent of these voters said they were undecided or didn't want to vote for either of them.

Tanner Houck won't be with the Red Sox from Monday to Thursday next week. That's because people must be vaccinated against coronavirus to enter Canada and Houck is not vaccinated, as Sporting News points out. The Toronto Blue Jays are the only Major League Baseball team in Canada.
