Maura Healey Collects 10,000 Signatures Needed To Qualify For Primary Ballot

Massachusetts attorney general Maura Healey cleared one major hurdle in her run for governor.

The Democrat has collected more than 10,000 signatures, as Politico reported on Wednesday morning. That's the number required for a candidate to make the September primary ballot. However, her signatures haven't been certified yet. Candidates have until May 10 to submit their signatures.

Children under 5 years old aren't eligible for coronavirus vaccines in the United States, but one Cambridge, Massachusetts-based vaccine manufacturer wants to change that.

While the vaccine hasn't been approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration yet, Moderna said on Wednesday, March 23 that it has developed a low-dose coronavirus vaccine that works on babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
