Massachusetts' hands free driving law is about to take effect next weekend.

Under the new law, drivers will not be allowed to use their mobile device while driving unless it is on hands-free mode, according to WCVB-TV Channel 5 in Boston.

One New England governor is openly backing former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld's presidential bid.

Politico reports that Vermont Governor Phil Scott, a Republican, is endorsing Weld's presidential run.
"I've met with him before, I think a lot of him and his platform so I would be supporting him," Scott said at a press conference over the weekend.
