Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell Sues TikTok Over Youth Mental Health

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell has filed a lawsuit against TikTok Inc., claiming that the social media platform is intentionally designed to be addictive and harmful to young users and that the company misleads the public about its safety measures.

The lawsuit, which names as defendants TikTok Inc. and its affiliated entities, including TikTok LLC, ByteDance Inc., and ByteDance Ltd., was filed in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston last week.
