If the Massachusetts Senate has its way, illegal immigrants will get free community college in the Bay State during the 2024-2025 school year.
The Massachusetts Senate unanimously passed a $58 billion budget last week that, among other things, would make community college tuition-free in Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Republican Party plans to focus on the races where party officials believe they have the best opportunities to make gains this year — which means the state legislature over Congress.
"We do have limited resources. So we'll be focusing on a lot of the legislative seats, where we have openings and we have strong candidates running," Carnevale said during an interview by Jon Keller of CBS Boston Channel 4 broadcast Sunday, May 26.
