Massachusetts Residents Have Monday Deadline For Offering Healey Administration Feedback On Proposed Sex-Ed Framework

Bay Staters have until Monday, August 28 to offer public comment on the Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education's proposed health and physical education for the state's public schools.

After that, the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is supposed to consider this feedback, and the voting board can (if it wishes) revise the proposed framework before it casts a vote to finalize the framework.

Abortion Truth Campaign, a pro-abortion advocacy group, is pushing Worcester and other Massachusetts municipalities to pass local legislation restricting pro-life crisis pregnancy centers.

"As cities and towns in Massachusetts grapple this summer with a growing number of patients traveling to the Commonwealth for abortion care – along with an increasingly visible medical disinformation campaign by anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) that lack medical credentials – reproductive-equity groups are urging local legislators in multiple communities to take action," says a written statement from the group, dated Monday, August 21 and published by State House News Service.
