There could be at least two Republican gubernatorial debates before the September 2022 primary. Former state representative Geoff Diehl (R-Whitman) said he is willing to participate in two pre-primary debates with Wrentham businessman Chris Doughty, according to a press release issued by the Diehl campaign on Thursday, April 21. The debates would take place in either July or August. They will be one-hour radio debates hosted by Howie Carr and Jeff Kuhner, according to the press release.
