The Tax Foundation, a right-of-center think tank, released a report this week that found that Massachusetts had the 11th highest corporate tax rate in the country.
It's a tax that 48 states impose (Wyoming and South Dakota don't), and the top Massachusetts rate is 8 percent.
The first town to vote in the first-in-the-nation primary went to former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley, but she wasn't able to win the state of New Hampshire.
Haley got all six votes in Dixville Notch; this came after its five residents (at the time) voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
