Massachusetts Attorney General Calls For Stricter Gun Control After Trump Assassination Attempt

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell responded to the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump with call for stricter gun control.

"While we send prayers and go through our normal response and routine, it's about time that this country address gun violence," Campbell said in a written statement she posted on social media. "No one, from school children to presidential candidates, should live in fear of these horrific events — and we should not accept the status quo."
