Possibly. It's unclear how the seasons will play out, but at least two male athletes who identify as transgender and compete on girls' sports teams are contenders once again this year.
A bill that would help adults 22 and older get a high school diploma has been referred to the Joint Committee on Education of the Massachusetts Legislature.
The bill would provide funds for public agencies, non-profit organizations, or other entities to provide job training and skills toward a high school diploma if a putative student hasn't already earned one.
