Marshfield Fairgrounds To Be Used As Drive-In Movie Theater This Summer

There will not be a fair in Marshfield this year, but the town hopes to put a drive-in theater on the fairgrounds to make use of the land this summer.
The Marshfield Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a plan to allow the fairgrounds to be used as a drive-in theater starting on Thursday, June 18, according to WATD FM 95.9. The fairgrounds reportedly has enough space for 500 cars, but town officials will start out by capping it at 250 to promote social distancing. FM radio would be used for movie sound.
