The Massachusetts Black Republican Caucus recently endorsed state Representative Marcus Vaughn (R-Norfolk) in his re-election bid.
"Representative Marcus Vaughn is an exceptional role model for young Black Republicans," Elizabeth Hinds-Ferrick, chairman of the Massachusetts Black Republican Coalition, said in a press release from the Massachusetts Republican Party. "In Massachusetts, it takes courage to stand as a Republican, and many in our community feel pressure to remain silent about their beliefs. Marcus has shared his personal journey with our caucus, highlighting the adversity and hostility he faced from Democrats for simply having his own vision of how to best serve our communities."
