Man Charged With Setting Ballot Drop Box On Fire In Boston

Boston police arrested a man who they say lit a drop-off ballot box on fire near Copley Square in Boston on Monday.

Worldy Armand, 39, of Boston, was arrested and charged with willful and malicious burning, as Boston 25 reports. There were 122 ballots in the box at the time he set it on fire on Sunday. Among them, 87 are said to still be legible, but not the rest of them. The city will reportedly give people whose ballots were burned another opportunity to vote.

The New Hampshire Union Leader hadn't endorsed a Democrat for president in its more than 100-year history, but that changed this year.

The historically right-leaning daily newspaper typically endorses Republicans, but it endorsed Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson for president in 2016. Now it has gone over to the other side, endorsing Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
