Mall Traffic Decline Threatens Existence of Brookstone

Brookstone has warned all 90 employees at its headquarters in Merrimack, New Hampshire that they might lose their jobs.

In August, the maker of quirky gadgets filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and began closing its remaining 101 mall locations "following continued deterioration of traditional retail mall traffic," according to a company statement quoted by The Union Leader.
