Make School Day Longer?  Billerica Parents Not Happy With Idea

A proposal to lengthen the school day by a half-hour isn't going over well with some Billerica parents. A new teachers union contract with the Billerica public schools calls for lengthening the work day from six and a half hours to seven hours. That would also allow the school day to be lengthened.
