Coronavirus cases are affecting a group that is least likely to die from the virus more frequently now in Maine.
There were 667 new coronavirus cases in the state of Maine reported on Tuesday, September 14. Of those cases, nearly half of them (319) were from people under 20 years old. Those new cases occurred over a three-day span.
Massachusetts is one of the most vaccinated states in the country.
It's one of just three states where at least two-thirds of the population is vaccinated against coronavirus, data from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows, according to WHDH. The other two states in that category are both New England states: Connecticut and Vermont.
